İsmail Lütfi Çakan'ın hayatı ve hadis ilmindeki yeri

Abstract

Türkiye’de 1980 sonrası dönemde hadis tarihi, usulü ve literatürü hususunda birçok araştırma yapılmıştır. Hadis ilmine katkı sunan âlimler bu dönemde çok sayıda eser kaleme almıştır. Bu bağlamda hadis alanında eser veren değerli âlimlerden birisi de Prof. Dr. İsmail Lütfi ÇAKAN hocadır. İsmail Lütfi ÇAKAN, 1977 yılında Yüksek İslâm Enstitüsü’nde hadis asistanı olarak akademik hayatına başlamış, 2012 yılında Marmara Üniversitesi İlâhiyat Fakültesi öğretim üyeliğinden emekli olmuştur. Akademik hayatı boyunca birçok talebe yetiştirmiştir. Ayrıca Ahmet Yücel, Nebi Bozkurt ve Cemal Ağırman gibi hadis ilmine katkı sağlayan birçok hadis hocasına tez danışmanlığı yapmıştır. “Hadis usulü”, “Hadis Edebiyâtı” ve “Hadislerde Görülen İhtilâflar ve Çözüm Yolları” gibi önemli eserleri lisans, yüksek lisans ve doktora derslerinde okutulmuştur. “Hadis Edebiyâtında ‘Kitap ve Sünnete Bağlılık’ Üzerine Genel Bir Tetkik”, “Hadis Usûlü Kitaplarında ‘İhtilâfu’l-Hadis’ ve “Sünnet’in Bireysel ve Toplumsal Değişimdeki Rolü ve Sahîh-i-Buhârî” gibi otuza yakın makalesiyle ilim dünyasına katkıda bulunmuştur. Türkiye Diyânet Vakfı İslâm Ansiklopesi’nde yetmiş iki madde te’lif etmiş, Diyânet İlmî Dergi, Altınoluk Dergisi, Tohum Dergisi ve pek çok dergide hadis ilmine ve güncel konulara dair yazıları yayınlanmıştır. Bu çalışmada hadis ilmi içerisinde pek çok kıymetli eser kaleme alan İsmail Lütfi Çakan’ın hayatı, ilmî kişiliği, kaleme almış olduğu eserleri, makaleleri ve Diyânet İslâm Ansiklopedisi’nde te’lif ettiği maddeleri incelenmiştir. Hadis ilmi içerisindeki konumu bağlamında hadis kavramlarına yaklaşımları, günümüzde tartışma konusu olan Sünnet’in konumu hakkındaki tutumu, bazı hadislerin sıhhatine yönelik olarak ortaya konan düşüncelere karşı takındığı tavır incelenerek hadis ilmine katkısı ve muhaddis yönü ortaya konmaya çalışılmıştır.

In the post-1980 period in Turkey, many studies have been conducted on the history, procedure and literature of hadith. Scholars who contributed to the science of hadith wrote many works during this period. In this context, one of the valuable scholars who produced works in the field of hadith is Prof. Dr. İsmail Lütfi ÇAKAN is a teacher. İsmail Lütfi ÇAKAN started his academic career as a hadith assistant at the High Islamic Institute in 1977, and retired from Marmara University Faculty of Theology in 2012. He trained many students throughout his academic life. He also served as thesis advisor to many hadith teachers who contributed to the science of hadith, such as Ahmet Yücel, Nebi Bozkurt and Cemal Ağırman. His important works such as “Hadith Procedure”, “Hadith Literature” and “Conflicts and Solutions in Hadiths” were taught in undergraduate, master’s and doctoral courses. He contributed to the world of science with nearly thirty articles such as “A General Study on ‘Adherence to the Book and the Sunnah’in Hadith Literature”, “Ihtilâfu'l-Hadith’in Hadith Method Books” and “The Role of the Sunnah in Individual and Social Change and Sahîh-i-Buhârî” has been found. He wrote seventy-two items in the Islamic Encyclopedia of the Turkish Religious Foundation, and his articles on the science of hadith and current issues were published in Diyânet İlmî Magazine, Altınoluk Magazine, Tohum Magazine and many other magazines. In this study, the life, scientific personality, works, articles and items of İsmail Lütfi Çakan, who wrote many valuable works in the science of hadith, were examined. In the context of its position within the science of hadith, its approach to the concepts of hadith, its attitude towards the position of the Sunnah, which is a matter of debate today, and its attitude towards the ideas put forward regarding the authenticity of some hadiths, have been examined, and its contribution to the science of hadith and its hadith aspect have been tried to be revealed.
